SonarQube github pull request plugin deletes my comments -


i've setup sonarqube github pull request plugin triggered through jenkins. plugin uses personal account, using oauth token, post comments pull request. works fine except plugin deletes comments posted in pull request when plugin runs again on same pr. solution use different (non-human) account plugin?

as mentioned on official documentation page of github plugin, in "requirements" part:

you have dedicated technical github user used insert comments when there issues , update status of pull request.

this expected behaviour because "technical" github user remove previous comments when detects have fixed previously-detected issues when push new commits. keep pr readable.

so indeed can't use own account.
