Blue Prism Surface Automation over Citrix -


we're experiencing problems spying citrix window.

our team not able spy outline of citrix application window once launched. tried full-screen, on desktop, on laptop, closing other windows, , numerous other scenarios. believe because sign-in via internet explorer , once citrix application launched, application detaches blue prism.

we working troubleshoot issue , trying set separate business object citrix window. problem cannot launch citrix .exe file because not allow input parameters log-in way. we’re looking saving citrix file .ica file (see https://support.citrix.com/article/ctx804493).

does have suggestions?

you'll need use surface automation techniques in order interact applications launched via citrix. bitmap mapping. if having difficulty attaching citrix window itself, try using dedicated application citrix receiver , have blue prism launch application.

you try checking windows process running (.exe) once citrix launched via ie, , try attaching process.
