google chrome - PDF Rendering Gibberish in Browser -


i built pdf in illustrator, , linking web page. looks fine in sumatrapdf , in windows preview pane, browser renders (just know, not how want look)

is because have font embedded? thing want have happen couple links on clickable; otherwise, i'd convert outlines. there need here haven't done?

edit: here's weird update this. browser follows link embedded in pdf when click it. has right data, wrong presentation apparently.

i'm assuming are/were using either dev or canary channel of chrome. there experiment running in both channels causing this, has since been reverted in canary still affecting dev 59.0.3053.x. more technical; experiment enabled pdfium code use skia render paths instead of anti-grain geometry , caused font gibberish.
