java - In OpenJdk how do I set font dir with appendedfontpath property -
i trying application use fonts particular location in openjdk installation using appendedfontpath property not working me.
../jre1.8.0_121+1/bin/java -dappendedfontpath=/usr/lib/fonts/ -jar lib/songkong-4.7.jar -m /mnt/disk1/share
reporting no fonts installed, /usr/lib/fonts folder contain font ipag.ttf
please note:
- openjdk comes no preinstalled fonts relies on fonts installed on system
- this embedded system reports no fonts installed on server,
fc-list
returns nothing - if copy font jre/lib/fonts folder works i'm not allowed copy folder.
- nor allowed run root commands such
fc-cache -f
if working specifying font folder containing fonts, working solution me.
you try set java_fonts
enviroment variable befor starting jvm make aware of directory path. case done export java_fonts=/usr/lib/fonts
. answer based on java runtime enviroment fonts article of archlinux wiki.
