svg - Shopware - disable PHP less compiler? -

shopware version 5.2.x

i use gulp , browsersync plugin compile less files quicker development.

i have strange problem - entries of svgs defined in less file compiled gulp-less seamlessly, when reload page, built-in php less compiler of shopware seems encounter error longer svg definitions.

for example:

why gulp-less compiles above, php-less fails beyond understanding , maybe has better way of resolving this?

i not eventually, want allow php less compiler compile less files again (at least on development environment). believe, temporary solution problem.

anyone tell me how disable built in less compiler please?

you doing wrong. in css should include .svg file, not source code.

put .svg image inside img directory of theme , load image in background e.g

.my--background {    background:url(../../img/myimage.svg); } 

you may read bit more .svg images on css-tricks
