amazon glacier - Disaster Recovery for one Hadoop cluster with 1PB of storage -

i have single 1pb hadoop cluster data i'd never lose , sensitive, why have own cluster instead of using cloud. right now, cluster located in wyoming , if, say, tornado comes through , destroys out of luck.

i wondering efficient , cost-effective way data is. specifics give me (e.g., rough cost estimates, frequency , speed transfer data etc.) great.

some options i've looked @ , decided @ least worth considering are:

  1. periodically backup aws, azure etc (seems expensive way me , prefer not expose data cloud)
  2. buy another, lower performance cluster / device , put in location (but where?)

i sure many smart people have given lot of thought problem before , have come solutions. in advance!
