android - Mono.Zeroconf NuGet package will not install in Xamarin -


i using xamarin 6.3 on mac. new xamarin.

i have project open. choose "project" -> "add neget projects..."

i type "mono" in search box, , check box next mono.zeroconf, choose "add package"

there several lines of output, last line is:

could not install package 'mono.zeroconf 0.9.0'. trying install package project targets 'monoandroid,version=v4.4', package not contain assembly references or content files compatible framework. more information, contact package author.

i have tried changing version of android package, each 1 results in failure.

thanks in advance assistance

this project doesn't support xamarin.android contains libraries desktop .net 2.0. library need support monoandroid target or pcl/dotnet standard target.

sadly library hasn't been updated since 2011 looks like! unlikely support xamarin.android unless it's updated in future.
